This collection of work is entirely watercolors. As defined previously, they are a narrative example of my process of thinking and composing. All works are on Arches 140lb rag paper.
These works are what I returned to after working in Landscape Architecture. Unlike mostly all my drawings from previous years, they are not drawn from observation, but from memory or assumption. All are drawn on heavy cotton rag paper that has had a surface sizing added.
Although predating my current work compositions by almost 35 years, there exists a remarkable and almost subconscious return to the forms and pastiche elements in these editions that now characterize my watercolors. The collage and symbolic elements seen here were entirely hand cut stencils.
